Compost Recycling

More of us than ever are starting to think about making more of an effort in the garden, and you may even have decided that you would like to start making your own compost. Compost recycling is the best way to make sure that nothing is wasted from your garden, and there are two main ways that you can do this.

  • Make a compost pile. This is the simplest way, and is good if you have a spare corner in your garden. Simply make a pile of garden waste and, over time, you should be able to dig compost out from the bottom of the pile – giving yourself an endless supply whenever you need it.
  • Buy a compost bin. If you would rather keep things neater and in one place then perhaps a compost bin would be a better choice for you. This way, you will know exactly where your compost is when you need to use it, and can simply place old compost onto the top when you are finished with it.
