Nickel Management

Like almost all other elements, there is the risk that nickel could cause damage to living beings if there is no nickel management plan in place to prevent this from happening.

If you think that you have been exposed to nickel, then it is important that you think about how you feel, and look at your health to see if you can spot any of the side effects of nickel exposure.

These include:

  • A sore throat and hoarse voice if it has been breathed in for a short while.
  • Nausea and abdominal pain if the exposure has been allowed to continue.
  • Irritation of the skin if nickel has been touched.
  • Runny nose if exposure continues

There are clearly a number of issues when it comes to nickel exposure, and because of this it is vital that you take care of the potential risks if you are in an environment where nickel could be present. For this reason, it is important that nickel management is always made a priority, and if you don’t have the knowledge or ability to deal with it yourself, ask for expert advice, from professionals such as ourselves. Simply pick up the phone to find out anything that you need to know!
